Daft Punk decided to forgo a full-length video for “Get Lucky,” the first single off Random Access Memories. But for the album’s second single, “Lose Yourself to Dance,” the electronic duo takes a more traditional approach, in more ways than one.
Much like the “Get Lucky” clip, the video features Pharrell Williams and Chic’s Nile Rodgers singing and playing guitar, respectively. It has a decidedly throwback feel, corresponding with Random Access Memories as a whole. There’s an otherworldly appearance to it as well; the band’s circular, lit-up surroundings are reminiscent of the inside of a UFO.
